A short (20-30 minute long) documentary will be produced, highlighting the struggle that children and parents face to overcome the cycle of poverty, child labor, and the lack of human capital development. The film will follow children working in fishing boats, cutting sugarcane, and breaking up rocks in the stone quarries.
The film will be distributed to local and national media outlets, as well as they key government ministries dealing with labor. It will be accompanied by a report that I have authored which will be available soon on this site.
The cost of this project will be approximately USD $200.
